Francis Moxom Elliott died at home after a long battle with cancer on February 24, 2015, in Hopewell, VA.  He is survived by his beloved wife Grace, his son Benjamin (Lisa), son Adam, son James (Michelle), son Lee; his nieces Laura B. Elliott, Rebecca Elliott Zadell (Jerome,) Dr. Elizabeth C. Elliott; and many cousins.

Mr. Elliott was a Deacon and Elder in the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Manassas.  He had a lifelong love of music; studying the viola, piano and pipe organ. He was an active member of the Organ Historical Society and played piano and organ at the Reformed Presbyterian Church. He was instrumental in procuring the organ currently used by the Manassas congregation.  Francis was directly involved with the production and distribution of The Christian Observer magazine. After retiring from publishing, he devoted his time to furniture restoration and production of high quality reproductions. His other interests included archaeology and Egyptology, antiques, numismatics (coin collecting), Virginia history, and historic preservation.
