Ruby Darlene Schrade, of North Augusta, SC passed away at home on October 5, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Commander Larry Schrade, United States Navy, Retired, as well as her parents and daughters, Laural Whitt, (John) and Kimberly Hill; son, Jason Downs; brother, James Bostic Jr; sisters, Anne Cruz; Elizabeth Vaquera; and Patricia Childress; and her most treasured grandchildren, Damian Whitt, Byron Whitt, William Hill, and Kayleigh Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruby obtained a Nursing degree from Northern Virginia College. She retired from Leavelle McCampbell Middle School in 1999 where she had been the supervisor of In-School Suspension. Ruby enjoyed crafting and sewing and was so very proud that she got to see her latest grandchild, Byron, born on July 29.
