He is survived by his loving wife, Lokelani and son Joshua of Las Vegas, NV; brother Danny Dyer and his wife Jessie of Toccoa, GA; sister Diana Dyer of Manassas, VA; sister Deborah Dyer Handy and her husband Kim of Knoxville, TN; brother Dennis Dyer and his wife Carolyn of Manassas Park, VA; nephew Ben Dyer and nieces Chris Dyer and Kelsey Dyer. He was preceded in death by his mother Janet Dyer, stepmother Linda Dyer and father General Dan B. Dyer, USAF, all of Manassas, VA.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN in 1973. His working career included management positions at the YMCA in Knoxville and various casino management positions in Nevada, Arizona and California. Before returning to Las Vegas in March, David was a substitute teacher and baseball coach at Metz Middle School, Manassas, VA.
